[2022 Fall] Basic Economics

□ COURSE DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this course is to provide KDI students with an overview and solid ground in economics as a social science to grow as competitive professionals in their own fields. As policy and development study students, It is crucial to obtain certain understanding and knowledge in economics to maximize rational thinking for the efficient distribution of scarce resources. 

The lecture covers fundamental theories in microeconomics including consumer and producer behaviors, supply and demand mechanism in the competitive market, and market equilibrium, etc.
