Applications for Leave of Absence, Extension of Leave of Absence for 2024 Summer Semester should be submitted through the MIS system within the period indicated below.
Please apply within the application period.
□ Application Period: April 22 (Mon) – May 03 (Fri), 2024
※ 2024 Summer Course Registration: May 07 (Tue) – May 09 (Thur)
※ Start of 2024 Summer Semester: May 13 (Mon)
※ Application of Reinstatment for 2024 Fall Semester : June 24 (Mon) – July 05 (FrI)
※ Application of Leave of Absence, Extension of Leave of Absence for 2024 Fall Semester : Aug 12 (Mon) – Aug 23 (FrI)
□ Procedure
1) Visit KDI School MIS website (http://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/)
2) Login using your Student Number as your ID
3) Click the “School Register” button
4) Choose one below and Click it.
① “Leave of Absence”(휴학)
② “Extension of Leave of Absence”(휴학연장)
5) Click “Insert” Button
6) Scroll down and fill out the form
7) Click “Save” Button
8) Check your request on the list
※ Notice
1. Maximum duration of Leave of Absence: 3 terms in total
2. Students returning from a leave of absence must complete the reinstatement procedure before registering for courses for the following term.
3. Students wishing to extend their leave of absence are required to submit an Extension of Leave of Absence application.
4. Students who do not return to the School following their leave of absence, but have not applied for a leave of absence extension, shallbe withdrawn from the School automatically, in accordance with School Regulations.
5. Students are not allowed to take a leave of absence in their first semester.
※ Students who receive the scholarships and monthly stipend may be deprived of thescholarships and monthly stipend if you take a leave of absence.
※ Notice for Korean male students:
- Training for Reserve Forces cannot be deferred during the Leave of Absence. Please make sure to report the change of academic status to your military unit when you apply for the Leave of Absence. Please note that failure to report within 2 weeks of the change may subject you to a fine of up
to KRW 2,000,000 or detention.
※The disadvantage caused by not reading the notice is the student's own responsibility. (공지사항을 읽지 않아 발생하는 불이익은 학생 본인의 책임입니다.)
