- Sept. 10: Korean Language and Culture Ⅱ (Professor Ryu, Juhyun) will NOT be offered (course cancellation due to low enrollment)

- Sept. 10: Advanced Development Economics (Professor Park, Sungho) Lecture Room Change: S203 → S302

- Sept. 6: Sejong Common Campus Lecture Room Assigned: J202


*For courses held on the Sejong Common Campus: Please keep in mind that attending back-to-back classes scheduled on different campuses may be challenging.

The first week of the semester is the Course Add and Drop period, during which students can register for or drop courses without needing the professor's approval. Please note that no course registration requests will be accepted after this period.


1. Course Add & Drop Period (via MIS, No Professor's Approval Required)

  • Period: September 9 (Mon.) 10:00 AM – September 14 (Sat.) 10:00 PM (KST)
  • MIS (https://mis.kdischool.ac.kr/) "Course Add and Drop" menu.
  • Attendance will be taken during this period.
  • Important Notes:
    • Course registration is NOT possible after this period.
    • The eKDIS course dashboard updates around 30 minutes before each class starts. Be sure to register at least 30 minutes in advance.
    • Students on waiting lists can attend courses via e-Education during this time. If still on the waitlist after the period, the courses will be automatically canceled.
    • FAQ for Course Registration and Drop/Withdrawal
    • To continue to receive scholarship benefits, students are required to meet minimum course requirements and the respective GPA criteria stated in the scholarship certificate.
    • Minimum credit requirements to maintain the admission scholarship: [Full-time] 3 regular courses (including at least 1 daytime course) / [Part-time] 2 regular courses

3. Course Drop/Withdrawal (with Professor’s Approval)

Please be advised that course drop/withdrawal requests are only finalized once they receive approval from the professor on the MIS. Since MIS does not automatically notify professors of drop or withdrawal applications, students must inform your professors directly after submitting the request through the system.


  • Course Drop:

    • Period: September 23 (Mon) – October 5 (Sat)
    • Students may apply to 'Drop' a course via MIS until the end of the 1/4 of the course duration. This application must be approved by the professor and will not appear on your official transcript.
    • MIS: “Course Add and Drop” menu


  • Course Withdrawal:

    • Period: October 7 (Mon) – October 26 (Sat)
    • Students may apply to 'Withdraw' from a course via MIS until the end of the 1/2 of the course duration. This application also requires professor's approval and will be recorded as a "W" on your official transcript but will not affect your GPA.

4. Fall 2024 Academic Schedule: September 9 (Mon.) - December 7 (Sat.)

 - Korean Thanksgiving Holiday: September 16 (Mon.) - 21 (Sat.) (No classes; no make-up classes required)

 - Public Holidays Requiring Make-Up Classes

  • Tuesday, October 1 (Temporary public holiday in observance of Armed Forces Day) 

  • Thursday, October 3 (National Foundation Day)

  • Wednesday, October 9 (Hangeul Proclamation Day)

 * Make-up classes may be scheduled during the Reading Period or held on the holiday itself.
